My Degree Investigation Project
This is an astrophysics investigation project that I developed for the UPTC in Colombia in 2020. In this project, based on extensive research into the dynamics of 21 near spiral galaxies and using recent analytical properties of the Sérsic model, it has been possible to propose a new model capable of extrapolating the rotation curve and dynamical mass of (theoretically) any spiral galaxy only with its infrared surface brightness profile. Personally, I am delighted with this research and the main results that were obtained from this.
